2009 02 18@16:21 -- NEWSFLASH #3:   With new type size everything less fits.  BUT an automatically imported file name field in OOWriter explicitly set to Times Roman 8pt size,  becomes a large bold (10pt? 12pt?) !!!  So,  I cut and pasted the file name from Windows explorer and set it to 8 point, which worked!   This is the first real HTML bug to date,   for the lack of nested  boxes is more a spec problem not a bug.
