2009 04 10@21:04 - I just spent a few days thinking about the utility of browsers used to read my technical & memoir style articles with hyperlinks to illustrations.  Word processors & the Acrobat readers do not have as much flexibility as WWW browsers which allow the visitor to randomly jump from text to an image then return to the same place.  I designed my longer  articles here for such browser reading with internal hyperlinks. Jean reports that on-line scientific journals use the same linking idea to good effect.
