2009 06 04@11:33 NEWSFLASH -  This morning I updated the postscript to my recent Current Memes article "Murphy's Law of Pine Trees"  -- Our local town road crews actually came around and picked up the brush piles from residents' yards on on May 29,  and event which I could only conjecture as to actual scheduling when I first posted the article on May 21.   There is one equipment detail that still remains open on this issue.
